​Hello, my name is Casey Nicholls. I am a licensed marine contractor and have been building docks on Lake Wylie and surrounding lakes since 2003.

I was fortunate to start working for one of Lake Wylie’s oldest dock building companies, The Master’s Construction. Bill McGinn founded the company in the late 70’s and retired in 2013 after 35 years in the business. I worked for Bill for 10 years and sincerely miss my time with him — he had seen and done it all when it came to dock construction. Before moving to the Carolinas, I lived in Ontario, Canada, where I ran a network consulting company. My original background was actually in information technology. But I grew up swimming, fishing, and boating along the St. Lawrence River, and I’ve always found peace by the water.

When I’m not building docks or meeting with customers, you’ll find me on my own boat enjoying the lake with friends and family. I met my wife Carrie on the docks at River Hills Marina, and we share the same love for the boating lifestyle. Together, we enjoy motorcycle rides to the mountains, scuba diving (we’re both certified open water divers), and visiting boat shows for new ideas.

I’m a proud father to my 6-year-old son Max, who you’ll often see with me checking on job sites and projects under construction. My step-children Brian and Brittany also enjoy the boating lifestyle and join us on the water whenever they can. As a family of boaters, we understand the excitement and challenges that come with owning a boat — and configuring a dock for safety and convenience.

Most of my time these days is spent behind a desk, but I’m personally on-site every day, managing each project alongside my talented team of carpenters. I’d love the opportunity to work with you. Sincerely,
