Before choosing a dock builder, Chris took the time to ride around the lake with me, look at our work firsthand, and learn how we approach each project. He had already researched several of our competitors and knew that WaterJack’s price was a little higher. After seeing the differences in construction and workmanship for himself, he understood why.

We completed Chris’s dock in 2016, and nearly 10 years later, it continues to hold up exceptionally well. By today’s standards, it’s a relatively simple design, but it has served him well and gets used religiously. Despite all that use, it certainly doesn’t look like a 10-year-old dock.

Chris is an avid boater who seems to know everyone on Lake Wylie. Over the years, he has become one of WaterJack’s best “unpaid salespeople,” regularly referring his friends, golfing buddies, and neighbors to us. We’re incredibly grateful for his continued confidence in our work and for every referral he has sent our way.

More importantly, I’m thankful for the friendship we’ve built over the past decade. Chris was a complete stranger when we first met, but today I consider him one of my best boating buddies. We often tie up together at different spots around the lake, and attending Jet Fest in North Myrtle Beach has become an annual tradition. This project gave Chris a dock that has served him well for nearly a decade, but it also gave me a friendship that I value just as much.
