Vanourny Dock​—River Hills, Lake Wylie

After 8 years of home owner ship the Vanourny family was ready for a new dock.  Like most of our clients, the Vanourny's purchased their house with an existing dock.  The old dock was narrow and partially floating.  The floating dock was taking a beating on the main channel making it dangerous  for their 3 young children to be on the dock when boat traffic rocked and rolled the floating section.  The old dock had a very narrow opening making it difficult to dock the boat.  It was time for a completely new fixed dock.  We demolished the old dock, pulled all the pilings and designed and built this beautiful dock complete with cedar finished ceilings, low-voltage lighting, ceiling fan, custom built-in closet and stand-up paddleboard launching platform.
